Over the course of three years, I generated a growing library of daily thought drawings - one from every day. Each day I made a pen and ink drawing on the back of a small card. The drawings are not summaries of the day; instead each visually represents the moment in which I chose to make the drawing. It is a window into one particular thought, nested within many others. In this selective visual journal, I feel the absence of the many thoughts that pass fleetingly without representation. However, the thoughts that are caught by my pen become the footprints of my daily nested thoughts and a visual accumulation of the passage of time.
