These brushes and small painting experiments were created at Big Arsenic Campground as part of the Wild Rivers Plein Air paint out. The project is the result of Interacting with local plants in new ways. Discovering their mark-making potential.Materials for brush making were gathered from adjacent plants and were processed (ex. yucca brush tips were chewed and pounded) and assembled carefully with thread. Mark-making was done using acrylic paint at various viscosities for different brushes.
