Spring 2025 Exhibitions in Taos

Taos Abstract Art Collective Spring Exhibition, The TCA Stables Gallery, Taos, NM
April 25 - May 3, 2025

I was honored to be part of TAAC’s Annual Exhibition Spring Exhibition - Honoring Our Intersecting Identities. The exhibition featured work by 74 abstract artists from Northern NM working across diverse media and disciplines. I am so grateful to @taosabstractartistcollective for providing this exhibition opportunity for so many of us, in this, their third annual exhibition season!

The piece included in the show was “Winter Moon II” a botanical cyanotype on paper on panel and finished with cold wax, 18 x 24 inches.

And what a wonderful opening reception it was! Thank you everyone who came out to celebrate with us and especially to Taos Abstract Artist Collective for excellent curation and install; it really was a wonderful show!

Taos Creative Entrepreneures Exhibition, The TCA Stables Gallery, Taos, NM
May 9 - May 18, 2025

This diverse and eclectic exhibition was the result of a series of free weekend workshop from Art Inc Express for creative entrepreneurs in and around Taos County. Participants were invited to submit and show work together and this show was the result!

I chose to show “Winter Moon I” Botanical Cyanotype on paper and “Both Many and One” 29 inches x 21 inches and “Neither One Nor Many” 22 inches x 21 inches, part of my Sky Quilt series created from cyanotype on repurposed teabags. The delicacy of the material speaks to impermanence, fragility of life, the preciousness of the form we have and opportunities it offers.

Thank you to Taos Center For the Arts, Sarah Hart and Jessie Hook and Taos County Economic Development for bringing us together and for the opportunity to show this work.

All works were created on unceded lands of the Ute, Pueblo, and Jicarilla Apache lands in what is now called Northern New Mexico, USA. Information gathered at Native-land.ca
