Inside I Out is a major exhibition launched by The Drawing Box of A0 drawings by 59 artists. It runs Friday November 22 through December 21 at the Leitrim Sculpture Centre. The show is a culmination of contemporary drawing works on paper created during pandemic lockdown in 2021 featuring artists from all over the world from the Drawing Box global membership. Much gratitude to Di Henshaw for her belief in this project and trojan act of bringing it to fruition despite all odds! Gratitude also to Talie Mau for design of the digital exhibition catalogue - viewable HERE.
The Drawing Box has been an impactful support as I returned to my arts practice, especially during the pandemic. Big thanks to Di Henshaw and other core facilitators. I am grateful to continue to be a part of this global drawing movement!
My piece in this exhibition is part of my “Plant Bones” series begun in 2020. Creating work this large was new for me at this time and was very exciting. (I’ve included some process photos above)
